Energy optimization using swarm intelligence for IoT-Authorized underwater wireless sensor networks

Several data forwarding and clustering techniques have been proposed to improve Underwater Wireless Sensor Networks (UWSNs) performance, but void communications, packet collisions, energy efficiency remain unresolved. We introduce a novel routing solution for QoS-efficient transmission from the underwater sensor node surface sink using Swarm Intelligence (SI). The protocol Energy Optimization Routing (EORO) is overcome existing challenges. design Effective Fitness Function-based Particle (EFF-PSO) choose optimal forwarder UWSN delivery. In EORO, relay nodes are discovered by intended source location information first. Then EFF-PSO algorithm applied select considering rich set of parameters. Four parameters each used fitness computation as residual , ability, connectivity, distance. These deliberately chosen reduce consumption, latency, throughput avoiding collisions. EORO surpassed underlying solutions in throughput, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR).
